Ocean freight,planned to the container.
FCL, LCL, breakbulk and ro-ro through Jebel Ali and Khalifa. We work out what fits in which box before we book it, and what the box costs at both ends.
Every quote names the free time at the port, the local charges at origin and destination, and the Incoterm that decides who pays them. Awkward cargo gets a load plan, not a guess.
- Full containers: 20′, 40′ and high cube
- LCL consolidation
- Breakbulk and flat racks
- Ro-ro for vehicles and plant
- Open top for tall cargo
- Reefer for temperature-sensitive goods
- Container load plans and lashing
- Verified gross mass and port documents
- Customs clearance at both ends
- Cargo insurance on request
What we look at before a price leaves the desk.
A 20′ box holds about 33 m³ and a 40′ high cube about 76 m³, but the door is only 2.34 m wide. We measure pieces against the door and the floor, not just the volume.
Every container needs a verified gross mass before it is loaded on the ship. No VGM, no loading, so we collect weights before the booking, not at the gate.
Ports and depots give a set number of free days. After that, demurrage and detention run per day per box. Free time is written on the quote, with the daily rate after it.
In a Dubai summer the inside of a closed container can pass 60 °C, and cooling at night makes it rain inside. We add desiccant, barrier bags or a reefer where the goods need it.
The Incoterm decides who pays terminal handling, documents and duty at each end. We write it on the quote so no charge turns up after arrival.
- What it is, how many pieces
- Weights and dimensions per piece
- Pickup and delivery address, with site hours
- The date it has to arrive
- Photos or drawings if you have them
What shippers ask us.
- FCL or LCL?
- From about 13 to 15 m³ a full 20′ often costs the same as sharing. We price both and show you the difference.
- How long does it take?
- We quote the line's port-to-port schedule plus clearance and delivery, as a range. Transhipments and port congestion are named when they apply.
- Can you ship vehicles and machinery?
- Yes, by ro-ro, flat rack or inside a container, with the documents the destination asks for.
- What is demurrage?
- The daily charge for keeping a container at the port beyond its free days. Detention is the same for keeping it outside the terminal. We plan delivery to stay inside free time.
